Today we’d like to introduce you to Isabella Fortich.

Hi Isabella, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for sharing your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
My journey into law began with a passion for cultures and languages rooted in my own experiences as an immigrant. At fourteen, I started studying languages abroad, living in several countries, profoundly shaping my understanding of diverse cultures. I pursued an Economics degree with a French minor at the University of Central Florida. My career in immigration law was driven by my personal experiences and a strong desire to help others navigate the complex immigration system. I gained significant practical experience through a law enforcement program in San Diego and an internship with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in Orlando. Today, I am a founding partner at Quintero Fortich Legal, specializing in various immigration issues. This role allows me to utilize my multilingual skills and legal expertise to assist immigrants in achieving their American dreams, blending my academic background and professional experiences to make a meaningful impact.

Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road. There have been quite a few struggles along the way. Learning languages was sometimes frustrating, and while I was driven to overcome these challenges, not achieving the perfect accent sometimes felt like a setback. Also, I got married during law school and had to navigate living in Canada with my husband while trying to continue my studies in Orlando. This required frequent travel between the two cities, which was physically and mentally exhausting. These experiences, however challenging, helped shape my perseverance and deepened my understanding of the intricacies of navigating life transitions, much like those faced by the clients I now serve.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Quintero Fortich Legal, the firm I co-founded, specializes in immigration law, focusing on helping individuals and families navigate the complexities of immigrating to the United States. Our firm offers comprehensive legal services covering various aspects of immigration, including family-based immigration, employment-based visas, deportation and removal defense, and naturalization processes.

What sets us apart is our deep personal understanding of the immigration journey—our team comprises immigrant attorneys who have lived these experiences themselves. This unique perspective allows us to connect with our clients more personally, providing empathetic and tailored legal advice. We pride ourselves on our commitment to our clients, ensuring they receive one-on-one attention and swift responses to their inquiries. We are known for our dedication to education and transparency. At Quintero Fortich Legal, we aim to keep our clients informed about the latest changes in immigration laws and procedures, helping them make informed decisions. Brand-wise, I am most proud of our ability to combine compassionate legal guidance with rigorous, results-focused representation.

Our firm is also committed to giving back to the community. We engage in various outreach activities and educational programs to help immigrants understand their rights and legal options. I want our readers to know that Quintero Fortich Legal is not just a law firm but a dedicated team of advocates passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives.

We love surprises, fun facts, and unexpected stories. Please share something that might surprise us.
Something surprising that many might not know about me is my involvement in community initiatives beyond the scope of immigration law. While my professional life is deeply rooted in legal advocacy for immigrants, I also engage in activities that support broader community development. This includes educational programs to empower young women in leadership and participate in cultural integration workshops that help immigrants acclimate more smoothly into their new environments. These efforts reflect a commitment to social causes beyond the courtroom, embodying a holistic approach to community support and engagement.
